Psalmus 129.
(8c)
Psalm 129.
129:1. De profundis clamávi ad te, mine : * Dómine, exáudi vocem meam : 1. Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord: * Lord, hear my voice.
129:2. Fiant aures tuæ intendéntes, * in vocem deprecatiónis meæ. 2. Let thy ears be attentive * to the voice of my supplication.
129:3. Si iniquitátes observáveris, mine : * Dómine, quis sustibit? 3. If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: * Lord, who shall stand it.
129:4. Quia apud te propitiátio est : * et propter legem tuam sustínui te, mine. 4. For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: * and by reason of thy law, I have waited for thee, O Lord.
129:5. Sustínuit ánima mea in verbo ejus : * sperávit ánima mea in mino. 5. My soul hath relied on his word: * my soul hath hoped in the Lord.
129:6. A custódia matutína usque ad noctem : * speret Israël in mino. 6. From the morning watch even until night, * let Israel hope in the Lord.
129:7. Quia apud Dóminum misericórdia : * et copiósa apud eum redémptio. 7. Because with the Lord there is mercy: * and with him plentiful redemption.
129:8. Et ipse rédimet Israël, * ex ómnibus iniquitátibus ejus. 8. And he shall redeem Israel * from all his iniquities.
V. Glória Patri, et lio, * et Spirítui Sancto. V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, * and to the Holy Ghost.
R. Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper, * et in sǽcula sæculórum. Amen. R. As it was in the beginning, is now, * and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
